Robert Donne, Stephen Vitiello, The OO-Ray

Venetia is a work composed by the collaborative team of Robert Donne, Stephen Vitiello and The OO-Ray (aka Ted Laderas). Donne was originally a member of the post-rock group, Labradford and more recently plays with the group Anjou. Laderas is an improvisatory and experimental cellist from Portland, OR. Vitiello is known for his sound installations which are in the collections of museums, including the Museum of Modern Art, and CD releases for such labels as 12k, Room 40 and Sub Rosa. The title of the track is a tribute to Venetia Burney, who at 11 years of age proposed that the planet discovered by Clyde Tombaugh be named Pluto.
